I didn’t go to any treatment facility or anything – and I’ve recovered from my addiction. A huge part of the process WAS being sure to have “balanced nutrition” – specifically amino acids and vitamins and such to be sure I didn’t have such intense cravings…

Prometa is a controversial treatment protocol used primarily for methamphetamine addiction, although it has also been claimed to be effective for dependence on alcohol or cocaine.[1] The treatment, based on the research of Spanish psychologist Juan Jose Legarda, involves a combination of three medications as well as therapy. Prometa was developed by Hythiam, Inc., which has sought to patent the protocol and charges up to $15,000 per patient to license its use.

Well 30 days is little time in my vision too, meth is a strong drug that can be really messy, 30 days can't be enough to heal that. On the other hand I think we should give Prometa a chance, we need all the resources we can get in fighting drugs.
