i was on meth 7 years till it landed me in prison i lost ALL, HOME, FAMILY, JOB, RESPECT , SELFWORTH I DIDNT RETURN TO OSCEOLA AND I FIGHT THE URGE EVERYDAY EVEN THOU ALL THE PAIN IS STILL REAL, I TRY COPE EVERYDAY TO JUST TO DEAL, IF ITS IN FRONT OF ME I WILL NOT PASS, THE THOUGHT OF THAT SHIT IN THE GLASS, HELP ME LORD TO MAKE IT MY PAST, IF I RETURN TO ICE I WILL NOT LAST, PRISON WAS A BREAK FOR ME , TO SEE HOW BAD I WANTED TO BE FREE, NOW I SIT TRYING TO REGAIN MY LIFE, I WONDER IF I EVRY BE ANYONES WIFE,GAINING WEIGHT AND LIVIN ONE DAY AT TIME, WISHIN FOR THINGS THAT ONCE WAS MINE, AS I STARE UP TO THE HEAVENS ABOVE, I WANT TO FEEL WHAT ONCE WAS LOVE, LORD PLEASE TAKE MY HAND, LEAD ME TO THE PROMISE LAND, A PLACE WHERE ITS NOT SO COLD, A PLACE WHERE MY LIFE CAN UNFOLD, LET ME BE REAL AGAIN,REMOVE ME FROM THIS LIFE OF SIN,LET ME KNOW THAT PRAYERS WORK, I NEVER AGAIN WANT TO LIVE THE LIFE OF A DRUGIE OR A METH JERK, PRISON ACTUALLY SET ME FREE, ON EARTH WITH MY FAMILY WHERE I WANT TO BE, AS ONCE A DRUGIE TAKE IT FROM ME, THERE IS NO DRUG THAT CAN SET YOU FREE ……CINDY ELLIS

my ex started back on dope… he says hes not addicted and only does it cuz its free… but i went to the restaurant he works at the other day and saw hes dropped about 20 pounds in about two weeks… im so worried… i tried telling him to be careful but he seems to blow it off like its no big deal…but the thought of somethin happenin to him is growing bigger and bigger… and i dont know how to help him…

My son is a recovering addict. He spent 7 months in Teen Challenge where he realized Jesus Christ was his strength. One judge ordered him in there, and another judge ordered him out, and back into county jail. Everyone was shocked at the last judge's decision because my son was a wonderful student, doing everything right by the book, but the only thing I know to tell him, is maybe God is testing you, maybe there is someone in there that desperately needs to hear God's word. I told him to read The Book Of Daniel, especially Chap. 3….Judges will be judged one day…….

Thanks. I have been clean for awhile. I seen an old dope friend today and was offer a line and had the strength to say no. But still have the urge to go back. This poem help me realize that road is not the 1 i want back on. Jesus saved me. GOD bless you all.
