I am a 17 year meth addict with 6 years sober. I enjoy surfing sites such as yours that post incredible stories of other addicts. I believe that sharing the positive aspects of recovering far outweighs the negative of addicted living and the harm it causes.

My Ex-husband is a meth addict. He lost his us, Wife and son and everything he aspired to be. He’s lied to everyone, stole money and items, locked himself away, been beaten over this drug, and has been arrested twice and now seeing jail time. I stood around for 6 years, and I finally couldn’t stand it any longer. I can not help him. I feel he will never get through it. I had to do whats best for my son and I. I hope someday he will recover. I pray…

Dear chick ,
Ihave been clean for about 5 years now.I think it is great what you are doing with this site.I hope someone that is trying to get sober or thinking of using meth may read some of the testimonies on here and turn there lives around .

I never caused no death I was no where around when my cousin died and if u dont think my story is a fact ask muh father matter of fact look up Robert Shepherd jr and James Sidebottom in the indiana department of corrections seach data base shows my dad's theft charge and all bobs and as far as in my relationship I didnt know what I was doin hell an addiction will grab ya and never let go I promise

Instead of making up a story why not get real stories and discuss what led to using hard drugs in the first place. Most people who seek out drugs that are known to be dangerous are willing to risk the clearly disastrous effects it will have on them. Most normal people wouldn't even consider taking crack, heroin or meth. Addiction must be tackled by determining what made the individual willing to take such addictive drugs.
